"It is not necessary that you leave the house. Remain at your table and listen. Do not even listen, only wait. Do not even wait, be wholly still and alone. The world will present itself to you for its unmasking, it can do no other, in ecstasy it will writhe at your feet."óFranz Kafka
It was one of those nights where I couldnít sleep. I would lie in my bed staring at the dark walls and listening to tree limbs scratch across my window as if they wanted to reach in and grab me from my warm comfortable bed. I didnít toss or turn; I just gazed at the darkness until I felt as though I was breathing through my eyes.
I was troubled about something.
It wasnít anything I could put my finger on. It was a feeling of uneasiness.
I donít know when I fell asleep, but I awoke abruptly in the same position. I had slept although it didnít feel like I had slept that long. The clock indicated that I had slept what I call a "half clock."
A half clock is a phrase that I coined to describe my sleep time. I have an awful schedule and so I have to constantly figure out what roughly five or six hours is on the clock. Letís say that if I have an appointment at 8:00 AM I have to crawl into bed at least 1:00 AM at the latest so that I can awaken, shower and grab a quick cup of coffee before I perform.
When I am at parties or late night get-togethers I always say, "I have to leave soon so that I can at least half a clock before I go to work." People all look at me as if I am a moron, but it is a system that I use because I am a workaholic and I have to make time for social gatherings that last until 3 or 4 A.M.
When I awoke after my night of uneasiness, I sat straight up in my bed. I felt as though I had been roughed up a bit and as my brain adjusted to real time, the memory of my dream caught up with the rest of my consciousness.
The trouble is it didnít feel like a dream.
The sensation I felt when I awoke was not that of someone who had been sleeping all night but someone who had been outside wide awake and taking a journey.
Was it an out of body experience?
I wasnít sure, but one thing was sure and that was my "dream" felt very real to me.
I was sitting at the top of a ledge. It was a red rock ledge and I was looking over a city. The image was familiar to me. It reminded me of a view from the west hills of Portland where on the back deck of my friendís home where I could see Mount Hood, and Mount St. Helens on a clear day.
The city I observed reminded me of computer circuit boards and I could feel the energy coming off of the city. I then heard the screams of projectiles heading for the city. They could have been bombs but they were large balls of fire falling from the sky and pelting the city.
There were no explosions.
The balls would hit the ground and then I could see blue energy come out of them. Little bolts of electricity would chase through the streets, entering windows and tearing off doors. After a blue glow converged on the city, it left darkness behind in its wake. As far as I could tell there was no power. Streetlights were out and there were no headlights on the roads below. I wondered if an electronic bomb had destroyed the entire city.
The hum of machinery and the sounds of the city ceased to vibrate. I knew that everyone in the city were dead.
I did nothing. I stayed and remained still. I was watching the world beneath me silent and at peace. It was a chilling thought to sit and ponder the idea that an entire city had been electrified and that everyone probably died in a split second.
Suddenly I felt a sense of comfort and looked to the east. The bright sunshine was beginning peak over the horizon and soon I would be seeing the aftermath of the spontaneous energy surge that I witnessed. The light was warm and gave off a beautiful hum. It was a welcoming and comforting hum. It permeated my entire body and I felt like I could lift off the ground and fly. I closed my eyes and opened my body and mind to this sensation. I then opened my eyes and coming towards me was a beautiful blonde woman. She was dressed in flowing robes and appeared to be an angel or goddess figure of some kind. She reminded me of several archetypes. Perhaps it was Mary, Isis, Columbia, I wasnít sure.
She smiled at me and handed me a cup.
"What is this?" I asked.
"It is water," she replied, "but not just any water, it is water that is laced with deadly poison."
I was curious as to why she would offer me poison and she told me that I could drink it because it would pass my lips and taste like wine.
"It will give you confidence" she said.
I trusted the angel and drank from the cup. I drank it all. The water was sweet like mead made from fruit and honey. She hugged me and smiled. She ascended into the sky and floated above the city that now looked like it had been seared by some powerful force. Streetlights were blown out, and small fires could be seen in several areas along the grid.
As she rose above the disaster I stood and marveled at her beauty and her glory.
It ended all too quickly.
From out of nowhere a dark figure with large black wings flew in. It looked like a dragon, with a somewhat human face. It had claws, and large toenails. It had a tail and horns that curled back. A dark, threatening demonic entity was flying straight for the angelic "goddess."
He overpowered her and ripped her head off of her shoulders. He held the head in his claws so that I could see. I looked at his face and it appeared spider-like with coarse hair and he bore the most horrific fangs I had ever seen. They appeared like tusks and they dripped with a slimy putrid smelling substance.
He plunged his fangs into the lifeless body of the woman and drank the blood and consumed her. The sounds of cracking bones and a moist mouth echoed in the silence. After he finished her off he looked at me and flew down to where I was standing. I stared into his cold black eyes and he said to me with a raspy growl.
"Now that you have confidence, are you ready to take on me?"
That is when I awoke. I phoned a friend of mine and told her of the dream. She was worried about the dream and told me I should not share it with anyone. She was afraid that perhaps people would think that I was delusional, or that It would appear to be too dogmatic or religious.
It did have me troubled. It reminded me of something that the apostle John may have seen while he was in exile, or perhaps a vision from Nostradamus, or William Blake. Especially Blakeís vision of the blood thirsty men that inhabited fleas in "Ghost of a flea."
Blake imagined that fleas were inhabited by the souls of bloodthirsty men. The reason these bloodthirsty men were confined to the bodies of fleas was because be claimed that if they were the size of horses, they would drink so much blood that most of the country would be depopulated. The flea is depicted as a demon like creature that uses its long tongue to drink blood from a cup.
I took my friendís advice and decided not to relate the dream to anyone until I could interpret it. I needed to at least find out if it was a metaphor for future events, or past events that may give me some sort of clue as to why I had such a wild lifelike dream.
The dream was so overwhelming I couldnít hold it in. I had to tell some people to get their feedback on just what it was I was seeing.
I related the dream to an intuitive that I knew named Karma.
She was frightened by the dream and said that it was something she had never heard before.
She considered the woman an angel and that she appeared to me as an agent of comfort. She symbolizes goodness, purity, and protection and comfort and consolation. Karma believed that the cup that was offered was offered to me because I was having issues with self-esteem and that I felt as though I could not handle the situation that I was in. The poison in the cup was there to remind me of feelings that I had of jealousy and inadequacy. The cup of poison represented emptiness and the feeling that hope was lost and that I could not stop what was to happen.
She said that when I drank the wine it was supposed to give me the strength to survive an impending attack on all that I see as good. I suggested that some sort of electronic pulse destroyed the city I saw and that perhaps the people there were killed.
I wasnít sure.
She assumed that perhaps a demonic power had surged through the city and that the people there were afraid to leave their homes, or leave their beds or kitchens because they feared death. No one else saw the vampiric demon consuming the angel. No one else saw the city that was consumed by electronic fire.
I was alone.
I thought they were dead.
A week had passed and I still could not figure out the meaning of my dream. I just chalked it up to maximum weirdness. I received an e-mail from a listener and in it was link to a story from Rome Italy. This person I am sure had not heard of my dream and the synchronicity gave me the chills. I am going to copy the story verbatim so that you can realize the impact it had on me when I first read it.
Devil in the detail of Sicily's mysterious village fires
By John Hooper
The Guardian - UK
ROME -- Is Lucifer loose on Sicily? No lesser figure than the honorary president of the International Association of Exorcists believes he may be.
"What is happening is what normally happens when the devil enters the lives of those who let him in," Father Gabriele Amorth said yesterday as scientists and officials confessed themselves unable to explain a string of fires and explosions which began in the middle of last month in the fishermen's quarter of a Sicilian village.
Thirty-nine inhabitants of Caronia, on the north coast, were preparing to spend their third night away from their homes last night, having been evacuated at the weekend.
Since then, in an operation that could have come straight from the television series X Files, a multi-disciplinary team of experts armed with measuring devices has been examining the area for clues to the spontaneous combustion of washing machines, dishwashers, refrigerators, electricity meters and cables.
Gianfranco Allegra, of the Italian Centre for Electro-technical Experimentation, told the newspaper Corriere della Sera that he had watched as "an electrical wire lying on the floor that was not plugged in to the mains inexplicably caught fire". When he reported the incident to his superiors in Milan he was told to sober up.
What makes the incidents all the more puzzling is that the area has been without an electricity supply since January 4.
On Monday the affair took a new turn when a chair burst into flames. Then a fire started in a water pipe.
The mayor of Caronia, Pedro Spinnato, said yesterday: "I have no idea what is going on."
He believed that arson had been ruled out.
Tullio Martella, the regional civil defense chief, said the fires and blasts seemed to derive "from a dispersion of electrical energy, but the origin of the presumed dispersion has yet to be determined".
The houses in which the fires have broken out are all in an area 350 meters (about 380 yards) by 70 meters between the shoreline and a railway. At first suspicion center on the railway line, but that has now been discounted.
Yesterday technicians were busy measuring emissions from local mobile telephone facilities.
But Fr Amorth said they should not rule out vibes of a different sort.
"The priest of the parish ought today to go and bless all the houses that have witnessed paranormal phenomena, because that is what they are," he said.

Reporters speculating that demonic forces are loose in the land near the capital of the faith? Is there a force loose in the land near the Vatican? It floored me that this was reported in the mainstream news and not in the Weekly World news or some other rag that you buy at the supermarket.
The whole coincidence gave me the creeps. Many things were running through my head and then I realized that perhaps the dream was some sort of portent that uses metaphor in order to awaken me. When I have strange dreams and many synchronicities happen in my life I stop and ponder the significance.
Never in my life have I had such a vivid dream or out of body experience where religious imagery was so prominent. Demons consuming goddesses or virgins, and cities being hit by energy balls, do not say much for your subconscious.
While many will argue to the contrary I see myself as being a normal guy who has an enormous sense of intuition. I am able to see trends and I make educated guesses about the future and it comes natural for me. There are many times that I apologize for being right.
It makes my life complicated.
I have been accused of being paranoid and I am used to it. I always wonder how paranoid can you be when you begin to see the unusual become usual? How can you be safe when you have real demons or Vampires under your bed? Real demons that have Catholic priests in Sicily scrambling for answers to why a small town is spontaneously flaring up in a hellish conflagration?
I warned my listeners on a recent show that the Vampires are waiting at the borders and the demons are awaiting their cue to enter into great gatherings and snuff out the spirit and lives of all those who are in places where they think they are safe.
Watching the Demon devour the image of good I feared the worst.
I could only surmise that you are no longer safer in the churches or synagogues. You are no longer safe in places where the name of Christ is invoked. The demons and Vampires have become stronger. They no longer stop when you call out the name of Jesus. They no longer back off when you declare that the angels come down in multitudes to intervene.
They are willing to sacrifice themselves for the furthering of the terror. It is important to note that we have gone far too long hearing about the goodness that our leaders have brought into the world. We have heard how we are safe and yet we are vulnerable. The people have been hearing the warnings that terror is waiting on the plane, in places of government, and in major cities.
It waits everywhere.
It always has.
The people are beginning to grow tired of the boy who cries wolf. This is the point. By the time we have ignored the warnings and have grown tired of the manipulations the wolves will enter under the nose of the good shepherd, whose sheep have gathered around to hear his words.
"Wolves which batten upon lambs, lambs consumed by wolves, the strong who immolate the weak, the weak victims of the strong: there you have Nature, there you have her intentions, there you have her scheme: a perpetual action and reaction, a host of vices, a host of virtues, in one word, a perfect equilibrium resulting from the equality of good and evil on earth."--Marquis De Sade
We are about to get balance.
Such is nature, for God allows evil in the world.
"The gods can either take away evil from the world and will not, or, being willing to do so cannot.... If they have the will to remove evil and cannot, then they are not omnipotent. If they can but will not, then they are not benevolent. If they are neither willing nor able, they are neither omnipotent nor benevolent." --Epicurus, Aphorisms
Sometimes when you think you have a good defense against such Vampires and demons you always have a few people who truly want to tempt fate.
I recently was thumbing through an article that my friend Kris told me about and I was amazed that a theme park was being built in Iraq on the site where the movie the Exorcist was filmed. I thought it sounded silly until I realized that not only was the theme park dedicated to the Movie about a demons possessed child but that it was also dedicated to the Mesopotamian demon Pazuzu.
The idea of the park came about after a soldier popped the Exorcist into a portable DVD player and realized that he was sitting in the middle of the site where the devil movie was filmed. Capt. Nik Guran of the 2-320 Field Artillery Regiment, a ``major unit'' of the 101st Airborne Division stationed in the small Iraqi town of Hatra, inserted a copy of The Exorcist in a portable DVD player. As the film began, Guran had the weird realization that he was sitting where director William Friedkin shot the opening sequence of his 1973 horror classic.
Pazuzu. I thought that the demon was a creation of the writers of the devil film.
I was wrong.
After researching demons and their purpose I found the "demon of the winds" Pazuzu. The demon Pazuzu stands like a human but has a scorpion's body, feathered wings and legs, talons, and a lion-like face on both front and back.
After receiving a Grant of $5,000 American soldiers hired Mosul University students as guides, created a parking lot, opened a police station and revamped a nearby hotel. The theme park, which is officially backed by the Pentagon, will be turned over to the Iraqis once it is operating. Admission will be $2 or $5 with a kebab lunch.
The area where the site is located is a Sumerian, Assyrian and Babylonian site. It is situated in the place where Hammurabi created the first laws and where King Nebuchadnezzar's palace was unearthed.
And we have turned it into an amusement park.
It is obvious that we have become cavalier about dark forces. Our leaders have learned like our alleged gods that the powers of the dark side can be tapped into in order to bring about servitude by the fearful sheep. It is obvious that they play up their egos and their "godlike" attitudes, in order to blatantly use evil to distract you.
"Evil is whatever distracts."óFranz Kafka
One of the biggest distractions that has plagued us in the recent news is the bearing of an innocent breast during the Superbowl. Janet Jackson performed with Justin Timberlake in a bump and grind number where Timberlake vowed to get Janet naked before the end of the performance. He reached out and grabbed for her right breast and yanked a piece of her bustier off revealing the 14-year-old mentality of a country. It is quite fascinating to see what damage all of this caused and the knee jerk response given by FCC commissioner Michael Powell. I have been reluctant to reveal this because I have had secret societal ritual on the brain but keep in mind all that you have learned while reading all of my articles.
I find it a bit synchronistic that nearly a year after the Space Shuttle Columbia falls from the sky, The Columbia Broadcasting Service (CBS) falls from grace due to the flashing of a breast on national TV.
The game was played on 2/1/2004 in Texas (2+1+2+4=9). The Janet Jackson incident happened during Superbowl 38 (3+8=11) at halftime.
I found it coincidental that on this date one year earlier The Space shuttle Columbia broke up over Texas. This date also begins the pagan holiday of Imbolc. It is the day set aside Brigid, the Celtic goddess who in later times became revered as a Christian saint. Imbolc refers to the lactation of the ewes. It means literally "In Milk" it is the flow of milk that heralds the return of the life-giving forces of spring. This celebration is also known as Candlemas, The Feast of Brigid, Festival of Light, Feast of the Virgin, and The Festival of Milk.
This little incident has all of the earmarks of a sex magic ritual.
The reason I feel this way is because there are other times where nudity has been strategically placed in television programs with little or no uproar. There have been scenes on the nightly news where human life has been taken on camera without fanfare. In fact there have been times where such activity has been met with cheers and encouragement.
When Jacksonís breast was revealed I had noticed that she has a metal pasty covering her nipple. It was a sun symbol. It struck me as odd and with everything that I was seeing I thought that perhaps it would be a stretch to even tie any "occult" Egyptian symbolism. The only thing I could think of was Rah the Sun God. The CBS symbol of course is the all Seeing Eye and many believe that it represents the eye of Horus.
The followers of Horus invaded Egypt in pre dynastic history, at this time he was venerated as a victorious warlord. He became a part of the state religion and was associated with the sun god, Rah. Horus was so important to the state religion that Pharaohs were considered his human manifestation and even took on the name Horus.
In the more popular religious beliefs of the Osiris cults he was the son of Osiris and Isis. The avenger of his father's murder and the model of a dutiful son. It is in these stories that we find him doing battle with his uncle, Seth. The equivalent of Satan.
I would like to quote a few of my observations from a year ago when I speculated that Columbia would fall again and again. Many people were thinking that I was sounding delusional, however you can see that the pattern continues:
"Columbia is the sacrifice before the war. It is the lamb that goes to slaughter in order to bring about change. If Columbia was destroyed it may change minds about the war. Not just a Shuttle, but there are other Columbias. There are other Columbs. Other Doves that will fall."
"Columbia is the nickname of the Statue of liberty. Columbia is the name given to a television network, CBS. There is Columbia pictures, the Columbia river, British Columbia, and Columbia University. There are also other derivatives of the word like in Columbus Ohio, Christopher Columbus and Columbine."óFrom The article Bowling For Columbia © 2003 Clyde Lewis
"The next morning I was invited to see the movie Daredevil at a local theater. I had picked up a girlfriend of mine and we both went by bus to the theatre. As we walked from the stop to the theater there was a newer building sitting on the corner. In one of the columns was a brass name plate. It said Columbia Sportswear and the plaque next to it said 911 SW Broadway. Columbia and 911 were in bold letters and I mentioned it out loud so that there was no mistake that I was seeing these things.
Columbia and 911 both in the same place!
First came the Columbia column and then the 911 column. I was thinking about what it all meant. Maybe it was a message relating to me that after Columbia is lost there would be another tragedy similar to 911. Maybe I am crazy, but this same bit of strangeness happened to me before and after 911.
I thought is America ready for 911 Dťjŗ vu? Was I ready for it?"óFrom the article Cosmic Trickery 2: A fresh coat of Apocalipstick © 2003 Clyde Lewis
The Columbia reference once again tells us that peace will soon be taken down and another attack will take place. When you connect with stories of Osiris Isis and Horus you begin to flush out a pattern that is overwhelming and once again highly coincidental.
It is the repeating story of the Slain god, killed by his evil brother, and his spirit resurrected. You can find these repeating stories in the mythologies Osiris Isis and Horus, the stories of Shiva, Buddah, and of course The story of Jesus Christ.
This leads us to Easter, and the coincidence and controversy surrounding the release of the movie "The Passion of the Christ" by Mel Gibson. In this outing people will see a graphic depiction of the dove, the Prince of Peace, the Lamb being sacrificed on the big screen.
"By definition, the success of freedom rests upon the choices and the courage of free peoples, and upon their willingness to sacrifice."óGeorge W. Bush
The themes of sacrifice have been at the forefront of the entire war on terror. The religious themes have been mixed with the political rhetoric and used as a weapon and trigger for the fanatical arm of the religious right.
The power elite have been playing both sides of the game with a promised outcome.
They have focused on the shedding of blood as atonement for our perceived "liberal" lifestyles. Anyone who does not follow a strict conservative regimen are considered the enemy. Anyone who fights against their perceived militant God are labeled the terrorist.
In the end we will all be equal when Horus decides to avenge his slain father Osiris. I am speaking in metaphor of course. It will eventually apply when the events transpire where every mythology clashes and the death of a messianic figure transforms us. The torch will then be handed to another self appointed God.
After it is done many people will lose hope. They will let their guard down and it will make them vulnerable.
The angels and the vampires are gathering at the gates. They are ready to pounce on the vulnerable. The indications are that a balance is coming and that perhaps we have the risk of becoming vampires ourselves.
We will see a time where our perceived friends will become bloodthirsty and devourers of the spirit.
Your beliefs will be challenged once again and the shock treatment will cause pain and suffering. You will wear your own crown of thorns and you may even bleed.
Your blood may just be the ticket to get you in to see the ritualistic horror now playing in the Theatre Des Vampires.
