"The seventh mansion the Furies possess, which are powers of evil, discords, war and devastation, whose prince in the Revelations is called in Greek Apollyon, in Hebrew Abaddon, that is destroying and wasting"-Occult Philosophy

Lately I have had the opportunity, rare in overcast Portland, to look into a clear night sky and witness the planetary alignments. I see Venus dance around the moon, and Mars in the back ground, its brilliance faded a bit. I have been thinking about the way the stars somehow influence us.

In June there will be a rare occurrence of Venus appearing in front of the Sun. This will be influential as the spirit world is supposed to be awakened at this time.

We have always focused on how the stars affect the living; perhaps it would be interesting to note that Venusís position affects the world of the ether.

Needless to say, the chaos of the world brought on during certain planetary positions demonstrates a coincidental and psychological effect on the affairs of people at present. The earth has also been affected with quakes and storms that have been record breakers.

But what about the world of the unknown? If the alignments herald such changes in the physical world, could they not also affect paranormal situations? These alignments have to be creating areas on earth that open and allow the super beings or entities through.

The question is what are these entities, and how is it that they can come into the world?

In past articles I have talked about different manifestations of Djinn, Men in Black, and spiritual chaotic entities from different cultures. I have also pointed out that through ritual, many of these beings are taken through a portal and their energy is empowered by thought forms.

Ghosts, spirits and all kinds of entities exist behind the veil. Many people who claim to be debunkers do not believe in such things. Debunkers may deny their existence with science, but empower it with their fears.

There are set ideas and templates that are programmed into the collective consciousness which determine whether or not there is an entity in our midst. Those ideas about the supernatural are given to us through mythology, a cadre of witnesses, and word of mouth. There are also depictions of entity experiences that are augmented with dark music, and thunderings on a movie screen using special effects.

The Hollywood version of entity encounters has had to be made over, just as the actors and actresses starring in them, in order for it to properly terrorize a ticket-paying audience. The real-life entity experience is as natural and mundane as the wind blowing through the trees.

In fact, most entities, when called upon to make their presence known to the living are quite acquiescent. They are beneficial, they intervene, and sometimes warn of danger, or appear to give comfort.

But donít get me wrong; when a spiritual entity manifests, it can be a very traumatic experience for some, and many will determine that the experience itself is from the realms of the abyss.

It is the so-called evil entity that is peculiar.

It seems that in most cases of paranormal activity the destructive entities get most of the press. This article is no exception.

If we are to understand the paranormal, we need to understand that most entities act as a collective. You may have heard of something called a "legion." Most Christians know of the story of the demon-possessed man that Christ encountered.

When Jesus asked the name of the demon, the demon replied, "My name is Legion for we are many."

Sometimes when a sighting appears out of nowhere, we are surprised and we hear claims of a haunting by something that is a singular entity. What most people fail to realize is that the one appearance may be the tip of the supernatural iceberg.

Each entity within the collective will choose to appear or make its presence known to a certain individual because, at the time of the appearance, his or her circumstances made them open to the contact. This would explain why many people have had encounters with the spirits of dead loved ones who have recently passed away.

If an entity appears to you and you sense that it is evil, or troublesome, it may be that it has found a weakness in your subconscious. It will use whatever means necessary to fuel its power. This can include digging deep and uprooting some buried negative thought form.

Entities manipulate through the power of suggestion.

One of the most common things that I read about the paranormal is the silly opinion that Ouija boards are evil tools. Every experience I have had with the Ouija has been an enlightening and enriching experience.

I have been called upon to be a medium at several seances, and every time, I have come into the meeting with an objective view and I open my mind to light and to the pursuit of knowledge.

This does not mean that during these sessions I have not encountered beings that are troubled or angry.

I attended a sťance with a group of Wiccans at which automatic writing was used as a tool of divination. At one point I began to channel the voices of some of the entities. I have done this before on the air and the exercise troubles me because during these times I have no control of my body. I have been recorded and videotaped during these times. It is interesting to watch as my face changes and my voice sounds different.

Sometimes my voice speaks in languages I do not understand. I ask that during seances that one participant has a yellow pad available to take notes and transcribe what is said. I also ask for a tape recorder to be on in case any sounds are picked up, like EVP or reactions from the group.

At this sťance, there was a spirit of a polygamist man named "Old Pete" in the home. During his life, he abused a retarded daughter in the house. His daughter came through at first to tell of the dirty deed.

She revealed that "Pete" suffocated her, and immediately after her confession, Peteís spirit took over and stated that she was lying and that working in divination was the work of the devil.

His anger was kindled because what he was doing was against his religious beliefs. He refused to speak to the witches. He only spoke with me. His words were vulgar and the witches took offense when I told them what he thought. We couldnít continue with the sťance because the witches were offended by his words.

The spirit had used his malicious words to agitate. It created negative feelings among the group. He was using the power of the negative thought forms to cause things to move in the room, to create orbs and to cause the flames of the candles to shoot higher into the air.

Photos were taken during the Sťance, and, as you can see, the flames rose. Itís apparent, however, that the camera must have compensated for the light change and stretched the flames. To my recollection they were never that high. The chair next to me was left empty for Pete. If you look closely there is an orb above the chair that resembles the malformed face with a beard. I did not see this next to me. The camera picked up on it, though.

I truly believe that if Pete kept generating the negativity there would have been a full-fledged apparition in the room.

I do not know if it is possible to change the perspective of the most ardent skeptic. All one can do is express oneís own perspective and hope that one day the skeptic will somehow see that there are things beyond the normal.

This is why we use the term paranormal.

When a debunker or a person who claims to be a critical thinker joins in a discussion about paranormal topics, the subject deteriorates into something that sounds like a political debate.

This is what I like to call "besting."

"Besting" matches between debunkers and believers are pointless, because their rhetoric has nothing to do with science or proof, or the lack of it.

It is a contest to see which blowhard can get the most attention. To the debunkers, the debate is sport, if "sport" is, perhaps, tripping up a Special Olympics participant to win the gold medal.

There are plenty of people who ridicule those who have experiences because they either think they are evil, or silly.

Yet many of them pray to an invisible God and believe in angelic interventions.

Which, of course, is also a paranormal experience.

These experiences are not limited to the average person. In fact, many would be surprised to find that people in positions of power claim to have paranormal visions and even hear voices.

I have pointed out in previous articles that President Bush has stated that God has directed him in his personal and national affairs.

According to unpublished memos this type of "paranormal" activity is not limited to just hearsay.

A reporter named Walter Storch allegedly filed a memo as to the extreme paranormal or inexplicable activities that the President experiences. There is no way to confirm the allegations but they raise some interesting questions.

"In the current White House, attendance at daily Christian Evangelical prayer meetings is mandatory. It is reliably reported that Bush has a thick pad of lined, yellow notepaper on his desk, placed there just before the Vice President arrives.

Notes taken by the President are transcribed and prepared as talking points for the President. At some time in the past, the President suffered what one of his aides called "a very minor seizure" and as a result of this, the President has a very difficult time following any unscripted conversations. For this reason, his staff carefully and aggressively protect the President from "unexpected" questions that he is not capable of answering."

At one point during a staff conference, the President stood up and began to speak in an unknown language. Mr. Rove was able to stop the President and get him to resume his seat. It was reported that for a period of time (about fifteen minutes) after this incident, the President appeared to be 'somewhat confused and very inarticulate."

Bush has also declared that he speaks directly to God. There have been many instances where he has declared that his talks with God have resulted in attacks on countries and the crusade that everyone fears is happening in the Middle East.

Journalist Bob Woodward claims in his new book, "Plan of Attack," that George Bush candidly spoke of the war in Iraq. During one segment, Woodward asked if Bush asked his father for any advice on the attack. President Bush said, "Well, no," and then he got defensive about it, Woodward claims . Then he said something that that struck Woodward as peculiar.

"He is the wrong father to appeal to for advice. The wrong father to go to, to appeal to in terms of strength. There's a higher Father that I appeal to."

While the idea that President Bush speaks with God may endear him to Christian voters, it can send a chill through those who remember history. The statement he made to Woodward about his "father" reminds me of what Marshall Applewhite said before he and 38 members of his cult committed suicide in March of 1997.

"My Father is not a Human Father, My father is a member of the Evolutionary Level above human the kingdom of God, the Kingdom of heaven."--Marshall Applewhite

The entity or "father" that Marshall Applewhite described was a balding grey humanoid that looks similar to the "alien grey" personage described by most abductees. These entities allegedly come into homes during the night and rape their victims. In some abduction cases humans go through horrific experimentations, and mind control experiments.

It is quite peculiar to note that even after all of the horrible activities associated with these greys, abductees claim that the entities are not here to harm us but to help us.

In the book "Extraterrestrial Friends and Foes", George Andrews wrote about the occult powers that Hitler tapped into. Andrews writes that the real power behind the Nazis was allegiance to dark powers and control of entities similar to those spoken of by Aleister Crowley.

According to Andrews, the Nazis teamed up with a group called the Initiated Brothers of Asia. These groups would gather together and they would attempt to open a portal to the other side attempting to contact a powerful entity that Andrews says looked similar to Crowley's "secret chief" called Lam, a balding grey entity that appears to be similar to the alien grey.

Just picture the opening scenes of the movie Hellboy without the cute little demon that eats Baby Ruths for breakfast.

Andrews goes on to say that Hitler was also prone to horrific bouts of paranoia. He would become dazed and inarticulate. He would speak in gibberish and then would scream at this invisible being. The entity allegedly commanded Hitler to continue the experimentations upon and the slaughter of millions of innocent Jews and other peoples.

Could there be some sort of strange cosmic chain of command from an entity that is presumed to be God?

This could mean that occult contact with entities runs deep in the collective that governs us.

The roots of entity contact for power begin in ancient civilizations and secret societies. Their rituals have been practiced in groups like the Initiated Brothers of Asia, Hitler's Nazis, The Skull and Bones Society, and possibly some members of the CIA are in on these rituals.

The Bohemian Grove is located in Sonoma County, California, and is the site of an annual two-week gathering of the country's elite. Current participants include George Bush Sr., George W. Bush, and others who make the list of the Who's Who in the United States.

Mother Jones News reported in August of 1981 some of the prominent members that attend also include: "George P. Shultz, Stephen Bechtel, Jr., Gerald R. Ford, Henry Kissinger, William F. Buckley, Jr., Fred L. Hartley, Merv Griffin, Thomas Haywood, Joseph Coors, Edward Teller, Ronald Reagan, A. W. Clausen, Dick Cheney, William French Smith, John E. Swearingten, Casper W. Weinberger, Justin Dart, William E. Simon, and hundreds of other prominent political figures and businessmen.

The activities that go on there are kept secret. Reporters are forbidden to even go there and report on what goes on. That doesn't mean that reporters haven't busted the "party."

Witnesses claim that the participants of the Bohemian Grove romp take part in a mock human sacrifice called the "Cremation of Care." This ritual is held at an altar which stands at the foot at a large stone owl, a representation of the ancient God, Moloch. The Santa Rosa Sun reported in July of 1983 that rituals held in the grove were similar to those performed in the the Cult of Canaan. This ancient cult would worship Moloch and perform sex orgies around these hollow effigies of owls.

The Moloch sacrificial rite has as its victims human beings. According to the Catholic Encyclopedia, the chief feature of Moloch's worship among the ancients seems to have been the sacrifice of children, and the usual expression for describing that sacrifice was "to pass through the fire", a rite carried out after the victims had been put to death.

In the mid-1980's there were reports that human sacrifices were happening at the grove. Police investigated but found no evidence of these actions.

In the year 2000, talk show host and movie producer Alex Jones infiltrated the secret meeting and shot compelling footage of a dark ritual where officiators donned hooded red and silver robes. In the footage a booming voice speaks to the group and tells them that the sacrifice will make them free.

A demonic voice is heard laughing and then a dark droning dirge is heard. There is a low singing voice talking about the lighting of the pyre which the God Moloch will be nourished. It is then that the stone owl is back lit and the fire is lit. The the voice is heard saying:

"Be gone detested care, be gone! Be gone dull care, fire shall have its will with thee!"

John DeCamp's book, "The Franklin Cover-Up," includes a story by Paul Bonacci where Bonacci claims that he knew of a snuff film where a child was murdered in an area of California with big trees.

At a meeting in Santa Rosa, DeCamp told a group that he had edited out Bonacci's references to an enormous, moss-covered owl and men in hooded red robes because he didn't know about the owl at the Grove and thought it "too far-fetched for people to believe."

The Bohemian gathering is a matter of record. It has been happening since the late 1800ís.

It is not dreamed up by conspiratorial nutcases. The rituals performed are not in any way "Christian." When George W. Bush says that he takes orders from a higher authority, a higher father, we have to wonder which father is truly speaking to him.

Could there be an entity or deity that can manifest through ritual and speak to those in power?

Can these beings be pulled through a scant veil and allowed to terrorize a small group of people?

This may explain the paranoid view that there has been a pact with "alien" gods or entities permitting widespread human experimentation, ritual sacrifices and abductions in return for power.

The stories of these entities continue to pour in, but most of them are dismissed because many reporters feel they are far-fetched.

At a time where planets configure in rare alignments and planets like Venus and Saturn are returning, stories of strange humanlike figures appearing to people, or tales of astral vampires, are not all that surprising.

In Brazil 23-year old Alan Flavio was visiting the farm of his girlfriend's cousin. Late one evening, he and the cousin were rounding up some stray cattle in the outer areas of the farm.

They had stopped to rest when Flavio noticed that the horses were a little restless. He looked around and saw movement in the nearby brush. He caught a quick glimpse of a figure that he described as "graphite" in color, with long, thin but strong legs.

It quickly scurried behind some trees and disappeared from sight. Later that night, while sleeping in the farmhouse, he suddenly woke up feeling a strong hand pushing on his chest.

He was paralyzed and could not move or speak. He then noticed a dark figure, human in shape, standing over him. He claimed that the being prevented his movement. The whole time, his girlfriend and cousin slept in the next room and were not in any way disturbed. Soon the dark human-shaped figure vanished and he was able to move again.

In Mexico, a 21-year old police officer, Leonardo Samaniego Gallegos, was patrolling a section of Alamo Street when he observed what appeared to be the figure of a woman totally dressed in a black hood descend from a nearby tree towards his patrol car.

She appeared to float towards the car at very high speed. She had large black eyes without any pupils. Terrified, he drove away from the area but was chased by the flying woman.

He called for assistance over his police radio. The tree the strange figure had descended from was about 10 feet high. The creature approached the police car and hit onto the front windshield pushing it inward. It seemed to be trying to enter the car with what looked like long, pointy claws. At this point Gallegos lost consciousness.

Jorge Contreras declared that he and two more policemen from the Regia police department had seen exactly the same flying being that Officer Samaniego saw, but three days before.

They had decided not to say anything about the apparition---until they heard about Samaniego's case. Norma Alicia Herrera, who lives in Colonia La Playa, declared in a TV interview that she and her brother also saw the flying entity during the day. She claimed that her brother was so stunned by the sighting that he was sick for almost a week afterwards. Strange encounters seem to happen frequently in South America. Tales in the rural areas run rampant with tales of the Chupacabras and other strange creatures. There are also many stories of beings that appear to thin, and very pale, wandering lost in several small towns.

On January 24th, 2004, a story appeared in the mainstream about a strange encounter with an entity that looked out of place in the cold night. The encounter was first reported by a 17-year-old motorist in who had been driving about 10 miles north of Aurora, Indiana, on North Hogan Road. He spotted a "figure" in his headlights on the right, seemingly crouched down near a puddle of water.

After passing the frail-looking figure, the driver looked into his rear-view mirror, and, now illuminated by the taillights, he saw a tall, abnormal figure, moving strangely with pointed joints that "buckled out"; it appeared dark gray or black, and "pencil thin", perhaps 6í7" tall. It stood up and took several steps toward the woods along the roadside. No face or eyes could be seen, but the witness had the impression that the figure was looking straight at him.

The entity had no clothes.

The driver continued on for a small distance after passing the figure, and braked to a stop at about a two-minute walking distance from the location of the sighting. He looked back to further observe the entity. At that point, a second car drove up and approached from the opposite direction, passed him, and reached the spot on the road where the figure was thought to be.

According to the motorist, the second car undertook what he thought to be an evasive maneuver in the vicinity of where he had seen the figure, after which it turned around abruptly and pulled up behind his car on the roadside grass.

There was an elderly, gray-haired couple in the car. The driver had seen the same entity; he claimed that it had not looked human. They seemed to have seen it more closely than he had.

The elderly couple were "spooked", but offered to follow the first witness back down Hogan Road to his own destination.

Later, the 17-year old witness became hysterical, and within an hour was describing the figure as an "alien".

You can call them aliens, dark entities, astral vampires, or night intruders. Your belief system will fill in the blurry lines and the image you see will be familiar to your individual beliefs.

The veil is somehow becoming thinner.

We are now seeing the beings that probably exist simultaneously on this planet. Perhaps they dwell on another frequency or dimension. Ritual only speeds up the process of rendering the veil transparent.

As described in Revelation, Abaddon opens the gates of the abyss and unleashes upon the earth his swarms of demons, who then proceed to torture mankind. Abaddon is considered the sixth lodge of the seven divisions into which Hell is divided. Milton described Abaddon as the bottomless pit.

"In all her gates Abaddon rues Thy bold attempt."--Paradise regained

Cornelius Agrippa, a 16th Century mystic well known for his books on occult philosophy, wrote that the demons and the entities of the pit would roam the earth when Venus rivals the sun. Agrippa wrote that Abaddon was the monarch that ruled in the lower shadow of the sphere of the planet Venus.

Abbadon is also a word that describes the pit or cave that was used in mystery religions and schools as the site of a ritual, a rite of passage into the greater mysteries. Often, the experience would entail the use of psychotopic substances to put the aspirant into an altered state, in which he or she could receive divine revelation. Because the experience was sometimes unpleasant, this rite came to be viewed as being "hellish". However, it was considered absolutely necessary so that the seeker might become pure enough to encounter the "mind of God".

It could be possible that traumatic events are set in the world to open up portals and windows to allow for the safe entry of different entities into our realm of existence.

It has been theorized that a rip in the fabric of time could open up the gate and allow all kinds of different forms of intelligence into our realm of existence. If the collective conciousness is caught up in negative throught forms, or is in a crisis situation, we may see a mass manifestation of strange entities going from home to home.

Little by little they will rob us of the thing that is easy to lose in times of trouble.

Our sanity.
